I took a leap of faith and started Laura Mitchell Photography in 2021 after welcoming our daughter into the world. From a young age I dreamed of becoming a photographer, but life took some turns and I started a career as a Registered Dietitian. And although I love my work as a dietitian, my gut was telling my to pick up a camera. And let me tell you, it has been a DREAM! There is something so special and raw about capturing authentic moments within each phase of life. Whether you are a senior about to step into the “real world”, stepping out to start your own business, or grandparents with brand new grand-babies, being able to experience and celebrate these moments with you is an absolute honor!
My goal as a photographer is to gift you with photos that you FEEL - joy, laughter, sorrow, romance, belonging. Life can be joyful, unpredictable, messy, and sometimes chaotic – why not take the time to stop and capture those moments that make it so beautiful?
